NHPC Limited - a “Miniratna” Public Sector Enterprise of the Government of India has contributed Rs. 2.5 crore in the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for relief and rehabilitation of flood affected victims in the State of Bihar. The above contribution includes Corporate Contribution and one day salary of NHPC employees. Shri S.K. Garg, CMD, NHPC handed over the cheque to Shri Sushilkumar Shinde, Hon’ble Union Minister for Power on 3rd September 2008 in the presence of Shri Jairam Ramesh, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Commerce and Power, Shri Anil Razdan, Secretary (Power), Government of India and senior officials from Ministry of Power and NHPC.
